Preston gets a break from the vet today
Preston did not have to have a bandage change today, he was happy not to go to the vet today so he slept the morning and afternoon away. He will be going again at 8am tomorrow and then he gets to skip Sunday. He got two well wishes today, Ellen Link called to see how he was doing and Jen Esterly stopped by for some ear and back rubs. Preston does love company and that his original foster mom, Ellen checks in on him almost every day.

i hear i'm going to Alburtus vet today at 8am!! can't i get a weekend off from this? i do like going out to potty a 6am, have my breakfast and slice of folded american cheese in the mornin but i like to go back to bed on my big fluffy pillow till the sun rises. maybe tomorrow i can sleep in
ahhh!! a day off...the skin boys are here today i think they mention somthin about taking pictures of me. i know i'm a handsome grey but why do we need more pics of me? the grass was cut for us hounds yesterday now we can romp around, but i can only go so fast for now.
I'm at my original foster mommy's today for a play date. Well, maybe after a LONG snooze. They traced my wound today so that they can see how much it's closing up. Some nice man on a bike helped me get into Ellen's car (guess I gained some weight at Christine's). He fell in love with me right away. I'm so cute...
Preston had a wonderful weekend so far because he did not have to go to the V-E-T (Yes we are spelling it now to him, like most dog owners have to spell W-A-L-K) He loves the car ride there, loves all the people who take care of him @ Valley Central and he loves meeting all the other pets at the V-E-T. When we walk in, all the VC employees say, "Good Morning Preston". We wait a short time while Preston gets to meet the other patients and gets lots of pets and questions from the humans. The staff let me see part of his wound cleaning procedure. It is looking much better. This week he is going to have a follow-up x-ray to see how the fracture is doing. All those Preston Prayers are working!
